ExpenseTracker exists so your financial records live in your own Google Sheet, not on our servers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
To provide the service we process:
Message content is processed by our AI models solely to extract expense fields and to answer questions you ask about your own spending. Aggregated, de-identified usage statistics, such as overall message volume, may be used to improve reliability and accuracy.
We request the minimum Google permission needed to create and edit the specific spreadsheet used for your expenses. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google account security settings, which immediately stops all writing to your Sheet.
Account records are kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your phone number, authorizations, and service logs within 30 days. Your Google Sheet is yours and is never touched by deletion; it stays in your Google Drive.
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to a small number of authorized staff and is logged. WhatsApp messages are additionally protected by WhatsApp's own end to end encryption between your device and WhatsApp.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, message us on WhatsApp or email privacy@expensetracker.io. We respond within 30 days.
ExpenseTracker is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has used the service, contact us and we will delete the account.
